Today was a partial rest day for the team in Goulburn. Yesterday
(18th) finished with rain and there was a lot of rain overnight. The
day turned out to be very windy and it was good that we were not doing
any riding. The only activity was to visit the Council chambers in
Goulburn and to set up a small display with one of the rickshaws. The
Mayor, Carol, kindly came to see the display and have her photo taken
with the rickshaw, Khaleque, Hajrat and Morris.
We are hoping that the wind will have disappeared for Friday. There
are a couple of riders lined up for the journey to the national
capital. We cannot understand where all the media are. Is there
something happening that is occupying them? One section of the support
team will be off to Collector Public School to inform the children in
the last hour before the weekend break.
