Great Aussie Rickshaw Ride 31st August

The 49th day of the Great Aussie Rickshaw Ride, 7 weeks of shepherding
a three wheeled cycle through the towns and highways of eastern
Australia. A great job done by the support team.
The day was spent in Wagga. The team visited two schools. The first
one was Ashmont Public School on the outskirts of Wagga. We had a
group of children( about 25) from a couple of classes and had a great
time. The kids loved having a ride on the rickshaw. They participated
in the question times enthusiastically.
The second school was the Wagga Wagga Christian College. Here we made
two presentations ranging from Grade 3 to Grade 8. Again here there
was time and plenty of volunteers to do rickshaw rides. The team are
thankful to Nick and Jeanine Menzies who have provided food and
accomodation during our stay.
Tomorrow will see us travelling to The Rock and Yerong Creek both
megapolises of southern NSW.
